Noomi peanut butter should be stored in a cool, dark place. While it can be left out if properly stored, we recommend refrigerating your jar after opening it for optimal freshness and quality. Just give it a good stir before you put it in the fridge, and it will be perfect when you’re ready to consume it next.
Pro-tip: Take your jar out of the fridge a few minutes before serving. Enjoy Noomi at room temperature to maximize spreadability and taste.
Oil separation is completely natural. But unlike most other organic/all natural nut butters, Noomi peanut butter is a minimal separation product that’s easy to stir.
When you open your jar for the first time, just get that spoon to the very bottom and fully mix the contents. From then on, little stirring will be required—so don’t go nuts!
Generally speaking, peanut butter (PB) is a gluten-free food. Noomi PB is no different. We use our own machinery to produce Noomi peanut butter, and do not put any gluten in our machines. Therefore, Noomi PB should not contain gluten.
However, we do make Noomi PB in a shared commercial kitchen space. This means that we may use some shared equipment in our production facility. At this time, we have not yet gone through the formal process to obtain a gluten-free certification for Noomi peanut butter, so we cannot make any gluten-free claims on our label.
As our company grows, we will explore pursuing the "Certified Gluten-Free" mark for our product, among other third-party certifications, to maintain the utmost transparency for our customers.
